The University of Sydney's Compass Compass program encourages primary and secondary school students to participate in higher education.
Compass program
It is a partnership between the University of Sydney, NSW Department of Education and Communities, and selected primary and secondary schools in Sydney.
Compass activities for primary school students are designed to acquaint them with the concept and goals of a university, and to introduce them to the work of a university through theatre and museum visits, and science workshops. Other programs such as literacy and homework support contribute to academic development.
Bexley Public School is proud to be a partner of the Compass Program for a number of years. Many exciting events have been organised for Bexley Public School students and community members again this year. The University of Sydney has information about activities for this year on their website.
